I have seen this happen a couple of times on Windows 10 - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC opens and displays a PDF.  However, when you print the PDF - nothing happens. No error messages and no alerts.

Fortunately, the self-repair option under the ‘help’ menu ‘Repair Installation’ has worked every time. I still don’t know why this happens, but at least there is a temporary fix.
